Food and Drug Administration (FDA) stated, as of September 2018, that the only products approved for cyanide poisoning are the following: Cyanokit (hydroxocobalamin injection), Nithiodote (sodium nitrite and sodium thiosulfate for intravenous infusion), sodium nitrite injection, and sodium thiosulfate injection.
